Bangladesh U23 still alive in the tournament after winning against Pakistan U23

Rain helped Bangladesh to enter in semifinals of the ACC emerging team Asia Cup.

In the 9th match of group B ,Bangladesh U23 won over the strong side of Pakistan U23 in Karachi. The condition for qualifying is simple for them they have to win the game and waits for UAE to lose the match . As their target they won against Pakistan U23 but they are fortunate when the 10 the and final match was washed out by rain.as a result UAE had only 3 points and finished 3rd in the table. While Bangladesh finished on 2nd with 4 points. Pakistan U23  lead the group B with 4 points and better run rate than Bangladesh U23. Hong Kong remains in the bottom of the table as they were not able to get any victory in the tournament.

 After winning the toss Bangladesh U23 decided to bat first which turned good for them . They batted brilliantly throughout 50 overs and manage to put big first innings score in the board. Mosaddek Husain played mature knock of 85 not out in 70 deliveries. Other batsman also played well and big knock to put them over 300 + score. They manage 305/5 from 50 overs.in the second innings the Pakistani  U23 batsman never feel comfortable throughout their innings as a result they bowled out for  225 in 47th over. Khusdil hit 61 in 58 deliveries but it wasn't quite enough to chase the big target. In bowling all the bowlers get wickets , out of them Nayeem Hasan got 3 . Bangladesh U23 will face either India U23 or Sri Lanka U23 in the semifinal.
