A dream start for Lalitpur Patriots as they are in top of the table in EPL

Lalitpur Patriots won against Pokhara rihnos to lead the table

In the fifth match of the Everest premier league inform Patriots beat Pokhara Rhinos about 4 overs to spare. The inform batsman RE Levi played well in the first inning and hit 84 runs in just 39 balls with  9 sixes and 3 fours. Binod Bhandari also batted well and got 34 runs in 23 balls. Other batsman tried to play but dismissed cheaply as a result nobody gets a big runs except both of them. For patriots, Pawan Sarraf took 3 wickets with the economy of 7.75. Also Gaurav Tomar bowled beautifully but cannot get wicket in his spell. At the end of the 20 overs Rhinos managed to get 166 with 4 wickets down.

While chasing a 167 target which was quite big in 20 overs but also Patriots' opener played well and make a big partnership for first wicket. JA Kolsawala and GY Tomar batted well before got out on 51 and 82 with a good strike rate. GY Tomer batted brilliantly with the strike rate of 200. At the end Sunny Pattel hit a 20 of just 8 balls to secure win for the team in just 15.5 overs. The bowling of the Rhinos seems very weak as all the bowler were getting some run above economy of 6.50. After 5th match Lalitpur Rhinos are in the top of the table as they played more matches than other. They have 4 points from 3 matches with 2 wins and one loss. On the other hand Rhinos are in the bottom of the table as they had lost both of their matches so far in the tournament.
