Sri Lanka in the verse of whitewash

England looking for another victory over Lankans

After winning the limited over cricket and two Test matches over Lankan lions in their Island,

they sealed the deal to win only second series over Lankans in their home soil. Joe Root and his team looking for another test victory to claim whitewash over Sri Lanka. Root becomes the only second captain to do this if it happens. The Lankans were good in the second test at Pallekele but cannot manage to level the series. Mathews and Karunaratne both were good for them but not enough to pull the victory. On the other hand Root fine century helped three Lions to get in good position in the earlier innings.

    The third and final test match of the tour will be played in Colombo on 23 November,Friday. Sri Lankan want to pull the victory in the final test to provide some happiness to their home crowd and want to get back in form for their upcoming series. But England is very confident and relaxed to play some good cricket and want to return home with winning side. Root is looking very good and want to use their bench for some experience in Test cricket. Broad and Bairstow is back in English side in place of Anderson and Curran.
