Brilliant 252 runs partnership from Proteas Skipper Du Plessis and David Miller kicked out Australia in the decider ODI . In a very difficult situation of 55-3 where Australia were all over South africa . Skipper and Miller stood up and scored brilliant century of each . Du Plessis smashed 2 sixes and 15 fours to get his 125 runs of 114 balls whereasa Miller smashed 4 maximums and 13 fours to get his 139 of just 108 balls . Mitchell Starc and Stoinis shared 2 wickets each. Hazlewood caught out Miller through Finch's hand at the end .

Chasing 320 Runs Australia had a horrible start with Chris Lynn who was promoted as an opener got out on first of the innings and later on Finch got out for 11 followed by Travis head 6(21) But Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis kept Aussies in the game with 107 runs partnership. But a late fiery pace spell by Dale steyn, Rabada and Ngidi bottled Australia's innings for just 280 runs , as a result South Africa won by 40 runs
